Stacy Brown has always been on a quest to find the perfect chicken salad. One day she had an epiphany: Everyone’s idea of the perfect chicken salad is completely different! The stay-at-home mom set to work perfecting her own recipe, recruiting her family and neighbors to taste-test, before arriving at the one.
Once Stacy had the chicken salad that made her family and friends say “mmm, yes ma’am,” she started dropping off samples of her creation in teachers’ lounges and hair salons, and then began selling door-to-door. Orders poured in; Chicken Salad Chick was born. One day Stacy received a call from Stan with the Lee County Health Department, who told her the home business was illegal. With her chicken salad still in high demand, Stacy and her husband, Kevin Brown, were motivated to open up a carry-out only, humble yet honest-to-goodness restaurant where they could spread joy, enrich lives, and serve others. The rest, as they say, is history.
At the heart of Chicken Salad Chick are all the Chicks who inspire us every day. The named flavors on the menu are named for the real people in Stacy’s life. She chose to create new spins on classic flavors in their honor, to reflect their personalities and connections. We show these real-life Chicks how much they mean to us by giving them a place on our menu, where our guests can get to know and love them as much as we do.

This newly opened lunch spot is just the kind of place Wellington needed. As you can tell by the name Chicken salad Chick serves just that, several different types of chicken salad. For a place to survive solely on chicken salad it has to be good and I believe it is.
I’ve picked lunch here tons of times already and have made my way through a nice portion of the menu. My two favorite chick’s thus far are Olivia’s old south – made with pickle and egg and the Dixie- lots and lots of onions for you onion lovers. For sides their grape salad is yummy and loaded potato soup is an absolute must try.
Chicken salad can come as a scoop with crackers or be served on croissant/bread. There are also different types of combos you can create but definitely take a good look at them because the wording is a bit confusing.
Overall good spot for lunch with a real nice staff!
Yummy new lunch spot. I’m happy they open and the food is really good. The staff was friendly and quick I placed an order via the app and was very pleased with the service and food. The pimento cheese was so good also. Will definitely return. And the grapes a must try
Love this place I have for dinner at least 2 times a week lemon Basil chicken salad on whole wheat and Mac and cheese..I just wish they had chicken soup more often..but the service is good and clean and drive thru quick
This is a charming restaurant. My husband and I have been waiting years for one of these franchises to make their way into Palm Beach County. They have a great variety of chicken salad. Their croissants are delicious, and I do not like croissants. Their staff are friendly. Please try them so we can support this I’m guessing locally own franchise. Even if it’s not locally owned, try them out. You will be thankful if you do
