This restaurant is the best in Wellington and the surrounding area. We visit highly rated restaurants every week and Stonewood is top of the list. My wife usually has the fillet and it is always juicy and cooked to perfection. She has tried to duplicate the dish at home but cannot find the quality of meat that Stonewood has. I usually have the heavenly Cedar Planked Salmon or one of the specials. Last night I had the Sea Bass off of the specials menu and it was delicious. Service is always great and last night (Cherie) continued their practice of outstanding service. The manager Craig is always walking the floor and checking on everyone’s meals. We appreciate the outdoor tables that were added last year because of Covid. They also have take-out which we have used during the worst part of the pandemic.

Go here – you will have a great meal and service at reasonable prices!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. they give a nice basket of bread when you sit down which includes cranberry bread and pretzel bread.

We got the bruschetta because it’s free if you sign up for their email listing…It was delicious. The ahi tuna wasn’t the best. The prime rib was delicious as well. It’s not a restaurant I would go running back too, but if my family wanted a casual quick meal I would definitely go back.

Very nice fish and steak house. Service was Great! Enjoyed the hot bread . My wife’s salmon dish was well prepared and flavorful. Enjoyed my fried shrimp platter. Vegetables of creamed spinach and string beans were good. Located outside Wellington Mall on ring road. Plenty of restaurants on road to choose from.

This restaurant is part of a chain, but you’d never know it. There are only 8 locations in Florida (mainly in Tampa area and Daytona/Jax) and this Wellington location is the only one in the southeast part of our state. My husband first discovered them while traveling on business. And we’d been to this location more than 10 years back.

We came for dinner on a Friday evening and remembered why he’d liked it so much. We definitely will be back much, much sooner, again.

The restaurant is a bit upscale, but not pretentious. They are known for their steaks, but their seafood is good too.

Don’t skip the bread basket which has warm from the oven thick pretzel sticks and whole grain rectangle rolls with braiding. Both are addictive.

My husband ordered their large house “stonewood” salad and added steak. The salad had mixed greens, grape tomatoes, bacon, blue cheese crumbles, and craisins and a blue cheese vinaigrette dressing. The tenderloin sliced steak was rare as ordered and flavorful.

I decided to try their fish of the day special which was rainbow trout. It was a very large delicately flavored portion, oak grilled and topped with herb butter. For my two sides, I had al dente green beans, and a really good baked potato crusted in coarse salt with butter and sour cream.

We were both really pleased with

We took our daughter to Stonewood for her birthday eve dinner. We thought the food and service was great. I loved the butternut squash soup. We all enjoyed the pretzel bread. They have happy hour daily until 7pm. The mojito was refreshing. Our shrimp appetizer was good but after having the one at Kaluz I wasn’t impressed. My daughter enjoyed her burger and fired off the kid’s menu. The burger was so big she only ate half. The chicken club I had was a nice portion, I was only able to eat half of it. My husband had the ribeye, which he said was good. Overall it was a nice dining experience and I would return.
